Steel-cord conveyor belts are designed for conveyor systems with high tensile loads and longer routes. The embedded steel cords absorb the tensile forces; the cover plates protect the belt against the stress of the conveyed material. The design is carried out together with the consideration of drive, tensioning system, pulleys and jointing concept.
